Configure comes up with alpha-unknown-netbsd1.2E, and then DTWT by saying
that s/netbsd.h and m/.h are the files to be used.. since there is no .h
file :) it barfs.  Touching one, makes even more bad things happen.

Any suggestions on how y'all got it working?
