Can someone elaborate on what the problem is with the
"pmap code" and how it affects maxusers and kernel memory?

[I have an interest in running a kernel on the order of
tens of megabytes, mostly routing tables, and a development
system with more than 8 users.  Is this something simple
such as not enough page table entries allocated, or something
much more complicated and basic?]
