If you choose the right disk drive, it works pretty well.   I'm
running an NCR875 with a Seagate 2G UltraFast+Wide Barracude, and
haven't seen any problems yet.   And I am exercising the drive pretty
heavily.   On the other hand, with my old Micropolis drive, I was
seeing trouble on a regular basis.   :'(
