I have heard of problems with IBM drives and the NCR driver.. but nothing
specific really. The Multia SCSI port is a FAST SCSI-2 port. Not wide.
I wouldn't spend too much on one.. I've heard, and seen multias live fast-die
fast. Just buy something you can transplant eventually.. ;)
