I'm not sure this will help but I wanted to make sure it's been
published.  When we installed SRM on our 164/LX machines, we had to
first upgrade the bios from AlphaBIOS to SRM 5.0-1 (970911.1799), then
to SRM 5.1-4.  We were under the assumption that you could not directly
go to SRM 5.1-4 from AlphaBIOS.
