Subject: Getting lk401 kb/mouse working on Alpha 3000/400

I have an alpha 3000/400 which is reporting it cannot
initialize the keyboard/mouse and switches to serial console.

the /sys/arch/alpha/alpha/ dir has code for the 3000_500 family
which subsumes the 400 model, and it calls an lk201 attachment
function. I have an lk401.

Is this the source of my problems or is this a well known gotcha?

(using TCWSCONS kernel)
