This is my observation, too. Since 1.3K or 1.4 the Xserver
on a multia (233 MHz) is so slow, that it is almost unusable
(I use an X terminal since then). I am wondering, if the new
wscons code causes the trouble -- sometimes I have spinning
gettys on wscons while using the X terminal.
