Okay...

I have all the bits for basic AlphaServer 2100 support written (except for
the floppy driver glue), and the kernel compiles and links.

I need your help to test it.  I am currently doing a `make build' on my
devel system so that I can build an INSTALL floppy set, then I'll post
more info here on how to obtain it.
