Hello!
Sorry for bothering you, but I haven't found solution of my problem yet
:-(
I've tried to install NetBSD 1.4.1 on AlphaServer 1000 4/266
with DECchip 21064A-6
After command :
>>> boot dva0
and the second diskette was loaded this text appeared on the screen:
panic: pci_display_console: no device at 0/0/0
I decided that installation procedure is needed in PCI video-card, so I
disabled EISA video on motherboard and installed S3 PCI video.
All looks the same :-(
Help me, please, server still isn't working.
If im wrong and I need send this question to another list, tell me,
please. I'm new in NetBSD.
I know that Redhat Linux works on my platform but I don't like them,
but I really didn't like OSF/1 which worked on it before. My favorite OS
is FreeBSD but it doesn't support AlphaServer at the moment :-(
Help, please!
Kind regards,
Vadim V. Chepkov
