I feel a little stupid right now. SRM on the PC164 has this
interesting property that it will listen to either COM serial port,
and do what it is told. I have a GPSclock Model 200 on COM2 which is
putting out a time & location stamp every second at 4800 baud. When
this connection is removed, SRM behaves normally with 32-bit PCI
cards in the 64-bit PCI slots.
My apologies for the false alarm.
How do I tell SRM to ignore the second serial port entirely?
thanks,
Erik <fair@clock.org>
