Just follow the NetBSD-alpha faq on how to use Nero. That's what I did.
Just # b dka4 worked for me.

Under Nero:
Type of image: data mode 1
            Block size: 2048
            Image header (bytes): 0
            Image trailer (bytes): 0

and leave the "Raw Data", "Scrambled" and "Swapped" checkboxes
unchecked. Burn!
