Sorry about the floppy work, but it's one of the few ways I can think of to
find the problem.
If I'm correct ( and I _know_ someone will tell me if I'm wrong! :-) ) but
the SCSI controller chip is on the little riser. One other option would be
then to swap that out for your other one... Sorry, more wrench work...
