Well, I did the fail-safe load today, and here's the output... (It
definitely seems to point to the Flash memory chips now...)
I tried it a second time, and at boot up I got the message:
*** no timer interrupts on CPU 0 ***
then it said that the CPU speed of my 233 is 125 MHz! The re-load of the
firmware got identical output tho...
Does this give anyone any idea as to where the chips are on the board, or
where/what to look for? I can get new ones soldered on by my brother. (he
did a nice job with a 166 that suffered Multia H.D.S!)
