API has discountinued the 264 models/slota design. The alpha cpu is
available in 2 models pga or slotB. The UP series and future mb's will
use slotB. The 164 models use the pga cpu. They will eventually be
phased out in favor of SlotB. Who knows Intel now has returned to pga
packaging with the Pentium III flip-chips. Alpha may do a reversal too.
Personally I think the pga packaging is more versatile and easier to
design for.
