OK, I tried installing 20000527-snap instead of 1.4.2. Now, I no longer
get memory management faults! So apparently, that was a software
problem. But now, running 20000527-snap (1.4Z) I can't seem to log on as
any user other than root! Uhg, I can't win! BTW, are there patches to
fix bugs found in 1.4.2, or just security holes?

Oh yeah, any idea on when 1.5 will be released?
