You are correct, my dear sir. He could use the free option of NetBSD
also. That is a very tempting option...
But, speaking from my personal experiences in commercial IT shops,
'TheBoss' is more likely to use a software product that has an actual
support structure (i.e. on-site developer visits, phone call assistance,
etc.), even if there is a small price for the support. They tend to need
that secure feeling of 'actual visible' software support.
Overall, I think Paul should at least _consider_ the $$$ option; as
far as legalities go, at least. He always has the free NetBSD option...
