I just replaced it with a fresh one, so I expect it to be ok. However,
upon boot-up into SRM, I get a message that says that QNSVR is incorrect
(expects V1.0, but gets V45...).

The version is BL5 V3.7-628 Apr 25 1995. Netboot works fine with it.
