Hello,

i have a little problem.

My Alpha (LX 164 Mainboard with 533Mhz CPU) with adaptec 7880 Controller,
128 MB Ram, 2 UW-SCSI 4,5GB IBM Drives
1 CD-Rom NEC 4x SCSI and 1 x HP-Streamer.

if i boot from cd (boot dka400 for id 4) i become following:

1. ist Bootstrap loader (1.5)
2. by loading the kernel, the machine says, device dka400.0.5.0 is not
ready.. this message comes in loop

the same error become i by booting FreeBSD/Alpha and SuSE Linux 7.0/Alpha.

what is my problem ?

Is the CD-Drive not okay, or must i change any settings ?

Can any help my ?
