has anyone been able to use the OSF version of communicator to send email?
I get a dialog box that says

  Netscape is unable to use the mail server because you have not provided
  a username.  Please provide one in the preferences and try again.

when i try to send mail, but I _did_ provide a user name for the smtp
server.
