No, not really, but I suspect that it suffered from some sort of heat
related problem.  If you'd like to have it, I'll try to find it and
fire it up and see what it does (it's been at least 4 years since I last
tried it).  

I'm curious, what is it about these machines that you are investigating?
Surely it can't be that they are cost effective alternatives to almost
anything else...
