OK - I'm getting close to retiring all the 3000 Alphas around here, and
they're going to need homes in the near future. Mostly 3000/300LX machines
with 64-96Mb of RAM, 1 Gb hard drives - and, of course, those lovely big
monitors.
They'd have to be collected from Monash University (Clayton, Victoria,
Australia). I'm not going to ship them anywhere. :)
Can I just have expressions of interest right now? I'm not likely to reply,
so don't pester me about it. It may be a couple of months before I get
clearance to dispose of them, but I don't want to see them end up in
dumpsters. There may be a token cost - not sure yet, but it won't be much,
if anything.
So send me an email if you might want one, and I'll give you a yell when I
get organised.
Oh yeah - and thanks to everyone who wandered "slightly" off-topic last
week. It was fascinating reading.
