Okay, let me change the questions.

  - On AlphaStation 500, is it possible to detect which part is damaged
    from machine check?
    The AS200 code seems to have such diag message.
    I don't have documentation on AS500....

  - Is there any way to disable external (on-board) cache on AS500?
    I suspect the check is caused by the cache.
