That is a really nice bug. ;-)
I used a 10/100 MBit/s dual speed hub and setting de0 to 10BaseT nor
100BaseTX did work. 

But as already written in an other mail, everything works well when I
use the tlp driver. So it really seams to be a problem in the
initialization of the physical attachment in de(4).
