actually, the fact that it is boring is why i like it so much.  that and the
nice "flatness" of the config files.  very easily to generate with scripts,
especially at work with 70+ machines, turn a list of machine into a host menu
at the drop of a hat (wouldn't really need it if all the machines were in the
same domain, but since there are 4 domains that we use, it gets confusing quick)
