Hi,
I tried to netboot my Alphaserver 2100(Model 4/200, 128MB RAM, 2G HDD)
with 1.5ZC snapshot on FTP...
First try: (failed)
- 1.5ZC snapshot
- tftp, nfs server setup on 211.44.63.162
- I followed INSTALL.html document.
- netboot(from 1.5ZC) is copied to boot.netbsd.alpha
- bootp/tftpboot server is FreeBSD-current
- netboot failed with 'kernel stack not valid halt'
Second try: (failed)
- 1.5ZC snapshot, netboot from 1.5.2
- netbsd.gz is 1.5ZC
- netboot seems to be OK, but kernel boot hangs without notice.
Third try:
- 1.5.2 release
- kernel stops with the following message:
Support for system type 9 is not present in the kernel.
Please build a kernel with "options DEC_2100_A500" and reboot.
panic: platform not configured
