I have an AXPpci33 with a:
vga0 at pci0 dev 8 function 0: Matrox MGA Millennium 2064W ("Storm") (rev. 0x01)
I'm running 1.6 (including the 1.6 X11 binaries). When I try to run
XalphaNetBSD I get a failure due to (from ktrace):
326 XalphaNetBSD NAMI "/dev/ttyE5"
326 XalphaNetBSD RET access 0
326 XalphaNetBSD CALL open(0x120270486,0x2,0)
326 XalphaNetBSD NAMI "/dev/ttyE5"
326 XalphaNetBSD RET open 6
326 XalphaNetBSD CALL ioctl(0x6,_IOR('W',0x40,0x4),0x1202eb604)
326 XalphaNetBSD RET ioctl 0
326 XalphaNetBSD CALL ioctl(0x6,_IOR('W',0x41,0x10),0x1202eb5f4)
326 XalphaNetBSD RET ioctl -1 errno 25 Inappropriate ioctl for device
That's a WSDISPLAYIO_GINFO ioctl that fails. I notice in dev/ic/vga.c
that that ioctl isn't implemented.
So, what's up? Do I need to recompile X? (Come to think of it, what
X release are we using?)
Thanks.
