On my 164LX i use a Cisco 350 PCI card in 32bit slot(wireless an0).
Pulling the kernel PCI options from GENERIC(i386) file. dmesg gives:
an0 at pci0 dev 5 function 0: Aironet Wireless Communications Aironet
350 Wireless LAN Adapter
an0: interrupting at eb164 irq 2
an0: 802.11 address: 00:09:43:58:88:d4
card runs very well.
