Hi, can someone give me some pointers on how to go about cross-building for
an alpha from an i386? I've built the cross toolchain, but build.sh ignored
the TOOLDIR setting on the commandline and put everything in the TOOLDIR my
existing tools were in, so now I have alpha--netbsd-etc etc in $TOOLDIR/bin.
What I would like to do is build a kernel (and userland) for an Alpha
(specifically, AlphaStation 600 5/266) on my i386 machine. Just plain
configging the kernel didn't work, make died with a bunch of unknown
register errors from gcc, which leads me to suspect it was using the i386
compiler stuff. Is there a document I can read somewhere that'll help?
Thanks,
-Sean
