Hi! I just saw that previous post on the AS600, and since I have a similar
system I wanted to ask this:

Is there any way of upgrading the 266MHz CPU on this system. We have a few
21164s lying around and I would like to know if a leftorver 466/500 CPU
could be dropped in the system? I understand that getting the current CPU
out of its socket may be a pain in the nect, but I have done worse
operations already :). I just wanted to know if a faster 21164 would be
recognized by an AS600/266...
