That's very unlikely, but not impossible. I have protected it quite well,
and though I've had _lots_ of intrusion attempts, so far none have
succedeed in gaining access. That was with the old OS though. I upgraded
it from 1.5.2 to 1.6.1 a couple of days ago. If someone had succeded in
cracking it, he would've been doing something with it at the same time I
added the new user and all hell broke loose... Everything worked up until
then. Portsentry does a good job protecting from portscanning attempts,
and I've set it up so that the server will drop the route back to the
host that tries a scan. No unnecessary ports are open and the software
I'm using have been patched when new security holes have been found.
