I've got several DS10Ls in excellent working condition with very little run
time. I am willing to hear offers on .. just email me
1U compaq DS10L
466mhz 264 alpha CPU
At least 256MB RAM
10GB internal drive
dual 100mbit 'tulip' ethernet
The DS10Ls have RCM which allows you to remotely assert halt, reset, power
on and off via the serial console. They are reliable and stable machines.
To give you an idea of how this might compare to an intel PC, here are some
'flops' numbers:
Dual CPU Intel Pentium III (686-class):
FLOPS C Program (Double Precision), V2.0 18 Dec 1992
Module Error RunTime MFLOPS
(usec)
1 2.8422e-14 0.1153 121.4463
2 2.5047e-13 0.0748 93.5810
3 -7.6605e-15 0.1062 160.0577
4 2.2771e-13 0.0807 185.8575
5 3.8858e-14 0.1803 160.8720
6 7.5495e-15 0.1460 198.6010
7 -1.1369e-13 0.1367 87.8070
8 1.2612e-13 0.1093 274.5360
Iterations = 128000000
NullTime (usec) = 0.0024
MFLOPS(1) = 108.2839
Same test run on the DS10L:
