Hi,

I recently acquired a 3000/700 which I want to put netbsd on. I have 
searched the mailing lists/google but I just can't seem to get it to go.

I boot from CD and I get the usual  SWITCHING TO SERIAL CONSOLE message. 
I have a null modem cable connected to the 25pin
serial port but I get nothing coming up on my terminal emulator. If I 
boot with the S3 switch down I get nothing over the monitor or the
serial cable.

Can someone please give me an idea on how to get this thing going?
