I just wanted to mention that this doesn't to seem to have made any 
difference.  When I set 'link0' for both interfaces I got:

fxp0: Microcode loaded: int delay: 1000 usec, max bundle: 6
fxp1: Microcode loaded: int delay: 1000 usec, max bundle: 6

But after a few minutes the dmesg buffer was full of SCB timed out 
warnings.  They're still
occurring randomly and often .. the outtages last between 10 to 15 
seconds.

This isn't something that will get fixed really soon, so I'll probably 
just end up putting an ex device
in all of the CS20s and just use fxp0.
