I am seeing this behavior on my DigitalServer 3305 (nee AlphaServer 800 5/500),
in addition to a Sun Fire V120 (UltraSPARC IIe). Both are 64-bit systems,
running NetBSD 3.1_STABLE. I suspect we've hosed the kernel generically
somehow, since prior to the software upgrade, my Alpha was one of my best
timekeepers with frequency down below 20 ppm while running NetBSD 1.6.

This needs careful investigation.
