Sadly, it's not.. and I looked at the source code (again) to see what
was needed to make it one, and curled up into the foetal position
and cried.

Still, it's not an impossible job, I'll have a go at it.

As for makefs.. I don't know, duplicating a lot of functionality that's
already there in available source doesn't sound so good to me.
