Well, I've been looking some more for similar cases, and I am starting to
wonder if it is something to do with APIC? When installing Gentoo Linux on
this machine, I have to pass the 'noapic' option at boot time, otherwise
the system acts really flakey.
Is there a way to pass a similar boot-time-option to NetBSD? Or do I have
to create a custom boot disk/CD with APIC disabled in the kernel to test
this theory?
And I guess if this does turn out to be an issue with APIC... is this a
bug with NetBSD? I have used the i386 port of NetBSD 2.0 on this same
system and it works fine.
Thanks in advance for any help.
