Whoops, I meant 3.0_BETA but typed release candidate.  Let's try this again:

The nforce4 boards need a fix for the APIC/SATA problem.

Anders reports that 3.0_BETA does not have the fix.

A recent -current kernel has the fix.

(A) Can the fix for the APIC/SATA problem be added to the 3.0_BETA ?

(B) Can the fix for the APIC/SATA problem be added to the 2.1 RC?

(C) Is there anything less bleeding-edge than -current that has the
    fix for the APIC/SATA problem?
