We're talking amd64 here. What is done in port-i386 or port-x86-64
isn't a concern of mine.
X2 and the FX-60 are socket 939 (desktop) CPUs with dual cores. The
socket am2 chips FX-62, FX-70, ... are dual core.
(Core 2 Duo's are also desktop processors, fwiw.)
