Can you please test the following:

1. Kernel patch:
 http://www.invisible.ca/~jmcneill/netbsd/bktr-64bit.patch

 After applying, boot the new kernel and ensure that you have installed 
the newly patched bt8xx.h to /usr/include/dev/ic

2. Fxtv patch:
 http://www.invisible.ca/~jmcneill/netbsd/fxtv-64bit.patch

Let me know if this improves things.
