I added this line:

options PHYSMEM_MAX_ADDR=524288

to GENERIC, built relase followed by iso-image and the boot now looks
like this (ACPI on, SMP on):

And at that point it hangs hard. Sending CTRL-ALT-ESC through the ILO
achieves nothing.

Booting with "ACPI no, SMP no" works, but I end up with:

warning: no /dev/console

... and I'll see if I can convert some of the "unknown" things into
reals (not even the NICs show up!)
