LAME on 68040 versus 68060 (problem)

Hello,

I'm having some really strange problems with LAME (the mp3 encoder); on my
68060s, it compiles and runs fine. On my 68040 Quadras, it compiles fine,
but doesn't run fine.

Before going off on a goose chase, is there someone out there with a 68040
Amiga that would be willing to do a few tests with me?

If there really is an issue, I'll be sure to let everyone know.
