 This patch won't solve the fundamental issues I'm seeing:

 - miniroot-root is mounted read-only
 - the mount command, AFAIK the only tool at user level to change
   this, cannot remount / read-write

 I gave up, made a backup, and tried a fresh install, but the problem
 persists (I did not recreate the partitios under AmigaOS, though).
