Hello!
I'm going to translate the installation script to the Polish language. I
need a kernel with iso8859-2 fonts in the miniroot.fs. How should I try to
implement this? These are my ideas:
1. WSCONS kernel with loadable fonts
It will be a perfect solution in the future IMHO. Just load suitable font
(iso1/iso2/etc.) after language selection.
Pros & cons:
+ only one kernel and one miniroot.fs file
- gfx board not supported in WSCONS
- is loadable fonts work on the amiga port?
- loadable iso889-2 fonts not exists (shame!)
2. iso8859-2 fonts in default INSTALL kernel
Good solution if we use only two (English & Polish) languages. If someone
wants to add another language (encoding) it is not sufficient.
Pros & cons:
+ only one kernel and one miniroot.fs file
+ works on a custom chips and gfx boards
- may be not sufficient for other languages
3. miniroot.ENGLISH.fs, miniroot.POLISH.fs and so on
(or better miniroot.ISO889-1.fs and miniroot.ISO889-2.fs?)
Simple and universal solution.
Pros & cons:
+ many languages/encoding may be supported
+ works on a custom chips and gfx boards
- many kernels/miniroot.fs files
Ok, thats all. I will be glad to read your suggestions.

I hope you understand my english :-)
