Seems it has something to do with my PS1 variable:
PS1='\[\033[01;32m\]\u@\h \[\033[01;34m\]\W \$ \[\033[00m\]'
Using a simpler one:
PS1='\u@\h: \w \$ '
everything is ok (but with less colors ;-)
