Subject: Re: Latest RaspberryPI image
Hi Nick,
this one is a huge improvement.
-Booting on my 512MB device is now possible without a custom config.txt
-The framebuffer console now looks like on x86 and fills the whole screen
-My Hama SD card works now indeed
-The SSH server works and I can login to the box through the network
-The system feels more responsive and I have the impression that it
boots slightly faster
I created a file with dd from /dev/zero with a size of 20MB (write
speed is about 2 - 3MB/s). Then, I tried to fetch that file from my
workstation through SCP. It gets 1 - 2 MB from the Pi before it
completely stops responing - even to a ping. The FB console also
doesn?t respond anymore. I suspect that it crashed, maybe one can see
a stack trace on a serial console which I don?t have.
Good work!
Regards,
Stephan

Hi,
I've uploaded a new RaspberryPI image to
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/skrll/rpi-20130110.img.gz
This image has all the sets from -current except comp.tgz which was
massive as I'd compiled with debug support.
The kernel is the latest one from Jared and me which has a few improvements
over what's in CVS.
Please test and let us know how you get on.
Thanks,
Nick
