There are Pinebook Pro images on https://armbsd.org
so you could try just that (no other steps required but dd'ing that to the
card)

I don't know any details of the booting process for that SoC, maybe the
EFI support enumerates all EFI boot partitions and puts the EMMC one before
the SD card one somehow.

That way you would end up in the efiboot from NetBSD 10, which should count
down from 5 and you can interrupt it by pressing any key.

Then you should be able to make it boot from the SD card root partition,
but I don't know how it would call the disk device.
