Solved is probably over stating what I've done, but PPP is now working,
it required me to build my own kernel - Using the source ftp'd from
netbsd.org on Wed, and the SA110 system config file unchanged (apart
from removing most of the SCSI card drivers)

What I did was to remove the #if and #ifdef (and corresponding
#endif's) that related to PPP in irqhandler.c, so that the code was
always included (why I tried this I dont know). It now all works hunky
dory (Hopefully someone with more kernel source knowledge can work out
why this makes a difference).

Except that I'm getting a rather a lot of ibuf overflows (about 300
per syslog message), although the silo overflows are dramatically
reduced from when I last got PPP working (1.1 beta)

Cheers,

Simon.,
