You need to copy your kernel to your root directory. Simplest way is to
either use UnixFS, or copy it from a DOS floppy using:

mount -t msdos /dev/fd0a /mnt
cp /mnt/bsd-4664 /netbsd           (or whatever your kernel is)
umount /mnt

Funnily enough, neither do I. What do you need it for?
