I have recently had my VTi SCSI card upgraded with a PowerTec PowerROM, which
 works fine with RIscOS but hangs the Kernel when it is probing the podule
bus.  The kernel ids the card as follows:

podule0 at podulebus0 : Alsystems : SCSI II host adapter : Power-tec (Arxe
Systems) Generic SCSI with ATAP
(yep it misses the I off the end)

The only way I can currently get RiscBSD to boot is to remove the SCSI card.

To overcome the problem for now I decided to have a go at compiling a kernel
without the podulebus, the source was downloaded from ftp.ph.kcl.ac.uk.
 However when I use config to create the makefiles I get the following

Commenting out the respective lines removes the errors but this leaves me
with a kernel with no devices (hum a Micro-kernel).
Also I cannot get any of the supplied kernel setups to work either.

Help with both of these would be most appreciated

Current config: Arm610, 40MB + 1MB, 420MB IDE Drive, 1.1 Beta Sets + Voy-4740
