  If you mean by this that they'll steadily get faster, then I don't 
think so.  Once they start working on interrupts and using DMA, then 
they'll get faster, but till then I don't think they'll change at all.
As they don't seem to have improved for over a year. I.e. since they were 
first written.  I assume they have a low priority. 

  iirc Mark mentioned that LKM versions of the drivers were imminent. 
Maybe once this haoppens they will be developed further.

 At the moment though, I'm putting off purchasing a large SCSI disk 
untill the drivers become useable.
